Depression

We all have times when we feel sad or miserable about life. Usually these feelings pass.

If the feelings are interfering with your life and don't go away after a couple of weeks, or if they come back over and over again for a few days at a time, it could be Depression.

Depression is a common problem that can be either mild, moderate or severe. The symptoms vary, but affect how we think, feel, behave and can also have physical symptoms.

It's important to know that effective treatment is available. The type of treatment depends on the severity of your Depression as well as your personal preferences. This could be medication, talking therapy or self help treatments.

We can set up a student support agreement (SSA) for Depression. Please contact the Disability & Mental Health Coordinator for more information
